George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has been cleared of any wrongdoing over the singer's death.
Reports have emrged that the hairdresser was quizzed for five hours last month regarding the late Wham! singer’s death in December.
‘We are satisfied that there are no suspicious circumstances,’ said a spokesman for Thames Valley Police.
Fadi has been viewed with suspicion by George’s close friends and family after it was revealed he slept in his car before finding the 53-year-old singer’s body on Christmas Day.
There was no suggestion that Fadi has done anything wrong as the death is being treated as ‘non-suspicious, though unexplained'.
Senior coroner for Oxfordshire, Darren Salter, has yet to open an inquest into the pop star's death and Thames Valley Police have said they were still awaiting the results of toxicology tests on his body organs to ascertain if drug ingestion had played a factor in the George'sdeath.
As yet, no funeral has been organised, the MailOnline reports.
