Game of Thrones fans, rejoice! Go north of the wall and live out your wild(ling) dreams in a Game of Thrones themed ice hotel in Finnish Lapland.
The Snow Village covers an area of 20,000 square metres, and showcases a Snow Hotel, Ice Restaurant, Ice Bar and an Ice Chapel.
The rooms are designed by sculptors from around the world, and feature the Braavosi Hall of Faces, dragons and a white walker with scary blue eyes. A carved ice Iron Throne is guarded by The Mountain.
Private cabins are complete with snuggly sleeping bags and a sauna, so you can experience your own steamy night in a snow cave (Jon Snow optional). In the morning you’ll be woken with a mug of hot berry juice, followed by a buffet breakfast in the log restaurant.
Around 20 million kilos of snow and 350,000kg of crystal clear natural ice are used to build the Snow Village, which changes in shape, size and design each year.
Now in its 17th year, the hotel is located nearly 200km above the Arctic Circle in Kittilä, and is accessible via an hour-and-a-half flight from Helsinki.
