When it comes to fridges, people generally fall into two categories – messy as hell or super clean and organised.Well one Aussie Kmart Mum has proven that she very much falls into the latter category with this amazing fridge makeover!
Sharing photos of her amazing work on the always fabulous Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group, member Vicki showed how she used the bargain super store’s new Food Saver range – which starts at just $4 – to transform her fridge.
Vicki writes: ‘I thought I’d share my newly organised fridge here using the new ‘Fridge Saver’ containers ….’
Adding that she made the amazing food labels herself – ‘on my Cricut machine with Kmart vinyl’ – Vicki reveals that she loves her new fridge but admits ‘it was way more work than I thought it would be!’Vicki also reveals that she’s very impressed with Kmart’s new Food Saver range – which has been selling like hot cakes in recent weeks. She writes: ‘I’m super impressed with how long things like strawberries are keeping … Overall, I have to say I think they work really well and the produce is staying fresh.’Not surprisingly, the amazing fridge makeover has received a standing ovation from the other Kmart Mums Australia followers.Said one: ‘I totally have fridge envy lol.’ Added another: ‘Omg i love it. Can you come do mine?!’Added a third: ‘Goals right here.’We couldn’t agree more. Although the post did set off a debate as to whether sauces, tomatoes and even sweet potato should be kept in the fridge!Vicki says: ‘After posting it on my page I’ve been educated on a few things … apparently sweet potato, tomatoes and sauces don’t belong in the fridge 😂🤣’She also adds: ‘I think a lot stems back to what our mothers’ did … and then take it from there.’Each to their own, right!? One thing’s for sure – this fridge is ah-mazing. Well done Vicki! And for more amazing ideas, make sure you’re following Kmart Mums Australia – click here for more!
