It’s enough to put you off eating bacon forever. Well, maybe.
A social media user has found a nipple in their bacon and taken to Reddit to share the astonishing discovery.
Reddit user Missmeg captioned the photo – which clearly shows a pig’s nipple attached to the edge of the meaty breakfast staple – ‘this bacon still has the nipple on it’.
The photograph has garnered more than 3,000 comments with many people sharing their own horror food stories.
‘I almost became a vegetarian because the ham at Thansgiving dinner had a vein it,’ wrote NotSoSlenderMan on the social media platform.
Further users even uploaded their own bacon nipple findings, with one person stumbling across their own on a juicy cut of pork belly.
Another user pointed out that nipples were still edible, creating peculiar food for thought.
