What is happy hour?

Happy hour is essentially a certain period of the day where restaurants and bars with reduce the prices of selected drinks or food plates. Happy hour specials will differ from place-to-place and so will what items are discounted. The crazy news is happy hour isn’t always just one hour… many places will have their discounts on for two, sometimes even three hours.

What is the best time for happy hour?

As mentioned, happy hours can vary depending on where you’re going, however the most common time period for restaurants and bars to hold their happy hour is between 5pm and 7pm. This is typically the time when they experience a relatively calm period… well, that was until happy hour became more known! This is the period where people will go to a bar for after work drinks but aren’t ready for dinner yet.
