Scented dryer sheets are not only useful in the dryer you can also place a few in your linen cupboards and dresser draws which leave your clothes and linen smelling fresh. Another similar method is to use unopened fabric softener sachets at the back of your cupboards or drawers.

Baking and brewing
If you ever want to make your home smell warm and inviting, try baking something. The fresh smell of baked goods is wonderful, and you also get a yummy treat at the end. If you don’t want to bake but still want a nice smell coming from the kitchen, simmer a mix of fragrant items like cinnamon, citrus peel, bay leaves, dried fruits, herbs, lavender or spices in a pot of water on low heat on the stove, this will create an aroma that will waft around the home.
