Fifi Box: Check out my brand new body

Inspired by a throwback photo of herself in a killer black dress from last year's racing carnival, the TV and radio host has committed to intense gym workouts with a top personal trainer to help her drop the kilos. 

While mum-of-one Fifi is said to be keen to shave 10kg off her frame, friends say her new fitness kick is more about her 'feeling the healthiest she's ever been.' 

'Fifi just wants to feel good and her her body into great shape,' says a friend. 'If she loses weight along the way, that's great - but she isn't going to put a lot of pressure on herself.' 

Friends say Fifi embarked on her new health kick after looking at old photos from last year's Derby Day, showing her being fitted for a figure hugging black gown that showcased her slip physique. 

The star, who is dating Neighbours' star Damien Richardson, recently shared a photo of her 2016 dress on Instagram, and friends say it's all part of her plan to stay motived to get in shape. 

'Fifi really loved the dress she wore last year and wants to get back to looking and feeling this good in her frocks,' says a pal. 

'Since meeting Damien they've done what most new couples do - enjoying life and one another and letting their fitness slide. But all that's changed now!' 

Fifi has turned to leading Melbourne personal trainer Steve Vaughan from My Fitness Journey, who's married to The Block judge Shaynna Blaze.

The fitness guru - known as 'Scuba Steve' - has a slew of celebrity clients including Dannii Minogue, and has been training with Fifi for several months at his fitness studio. 

Fifi's daughter Trixie is also a regular at her workouts, with Fifi proudly showing off fun snaps of herself working out with the toddler on her back and lap. The 40-year-old regularly posts snaps of session with Scuba Steve, whose motto is: 'If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.'
