Hayley, who was one of Farmer Matt's ladies on the show, first revealed she was pregnant in a statement to news.com.au, where she said she connected with Farmer Will after the show wrapped up.
“I started my relationship with Farmer Will in December, before the reunion episode was filmed a few weeks later in January," Hayley revealed.
The two briefly dated, but it wasn’t until after deciding to end things that Hayley learned she was pregnant.
“On the 2nd April I left his house thinking, ‘I’m never coming back, I’m done.’ The next morning I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I was terrified to tell him,” she wrote.
She went on to discuss Will's involvement in the pregnancy at the time.
“I’ve tried to keep things amicable with him, to be clear on what his involvement with our child will be. I’ve asked him to all the appointments and he did come to the ultrasound," she said.
After Hayley made the announcement, Will took to his Instagram to break his silence about the baby.
“When the time comes, I will be the best Dad I can be,” he said. “If this is in fact my child, I’ll be there whenever the child needs me. Even if as parents we can’t be a couple, our family will be filled with love for our child.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Hayley shared little updates along the way, where she penned a heartfelt message dedicated to her baby when she reached 26 weeks.
"Starting life with you has been a difficult one but I do not regret it one bit at all," she wrote alongside a series of photos of her cradling her baby bump.
"I will love you unconditionally and I know you will love me too. Thank you for choosing me little bean."
