Snapped in between filming in Glenorie, Sydney, the women were make-up free while surrounded by the show’s crew, ready to begin their first night of filming in The Bachelor’s mansion.
The ladies were seen exiting cars in casual attire and looked to be in high spirits as they got to know their competition.
Some hours later, one by one, they reappeared, glammed to the nines in gowns, ready to kick off the first cocktail party of the season and meet Matty.
When it was announced that the 30-year-old was this year’s Bachelor, many were unsurprised.
He was the clear favourite from Georgia’s Bachelorette season, and when news broke earlier this year that Matty’s contract at his Sydney marketing job had finished, the rumours began buzzing.
Shortly after, the hunky reality star was snapped being escorted by a producer of the show to a ‘safe house’ in Sydney’s inner west, with his luggage in tow, leaving Channel Ten no choice but to go public with an official statement.
Since The Bachelorette wrapped late last year, Matty has been enjoying summer in Sydney with his family and friends, and is regularly spotted at events enjoying his new-found fame and single status.
Despite being linked to several Sydney-based models, including Nathalie Darcas and Amy Pejkovic, Matty denied to The Daily Telegraph that there was anything serious going on in his love life.
‘I am still very much single, enjoying that in the moment. I am not going to rush into anything,’ he said.
