Showbusiness veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerley is no stranger to early morning starts as the host of several television shows.

But on Thursday, the TV personality seemingly left her Studio 10 co-hosts in the lurch after she failed to check in to the show’s hair and makeup department.
With time running out and Kerri-Anne still nowhere to be seen, one of the show’s producers headed out to her home to make sure that she was OK.
When the producer arrived at Kerri-Anne’s Sydney home, she was pleased to find that the entertainer was safe and sound and had simply slept through her alarm.
Hilarious footage captured on the producer’s phone shows the startled 66-year-old emerging from her boudoir in a bright pink floral dressing gown and slippers.
“Kerri-Anne… I’m so sorry, are you OK? Oh my God. You poor thing,” the producer quipped, while trying not to laugh.
“My alarm didn’t go off!” a slightly shaken Kerri-Anne replied.
The producer continued to say: “We were so worried about you, so I was sent over here!’
Kerri-Anne added: “I’ll just jump in the shower… just wait for me!”
A short time later, the 66-year-old emerged on the Studio 10 set, looking fresh as a daisy, if not slightly embarrassed about the whole ordeal.
When asked what caused her to sleep in and miss the start of the show, Kerri-Anne quipped: “I’m just going to say one thing… Apple update!
‘Look, I haven’t even got fake tan on, or my rings… I feel naked,’ she said.
