Happier than she’s ever been, Tori (Penny McNamee) has been positively beaming since learning that she and Robbo (Jake Ryan) are going to become parents. For the Summer Bay doctor has dreamed of motherhood for what seems an eternity.

“Tori is just so excited,” says Penny. “This is everything she has wanted.”

But something will happen this week that could change Tori’s life forever. And let’s just say you won’t want to miss it!

Having received the joyous news, Tori can’t stop smiling when chatting with Marilyn (Emily Symons) and Raffy (Olivia Deeble), who are clearly thrilled for the mum-to-be.

Meanwhile, Robbo’s girlfriend Jasmine (Sam Frost) is busy planning a holiday for herself and Robbo before the baby arrives. Leah (Ada Nicodemou) reminds Jasmine that there will be many prenatal appointments for Robbo to attend with Tori, urging Jasmine to talk to Tori before booking the getaway.

Soon after, Jasmine tentatively broaches the subject with Tori.

And the discussion couldn’t go better, with the pair sharing a warm and open chat about the future.

Penny reveals this was a scene she thoroughly enjoyed filming.

“I love how they’ve written this storyline between Tori and Jasmine,” she says. “It would be so easy to see the two women in this situation being each other’s competition, with one being evil and one being good. So I love the fact that they’re both being mature about the situation and sensitive to each other’s feelings.

“Tori and Jasmine have a very respectful, grown-up relationship and view to the whole process, which I think is great. I’m so glad we can portray this and the fact that Tori, Jasmine, and also Robbo, are all trying to do their best in what is a rather unusual situation.”

But just when it seems everything is coming together for all concerned, a shocking development takes place.
