Wedding fever can be contagious in Summer Bay!
For, as we will see, another resident of the seaside town is planning a proposal.
Madly in love with Jasmine (Sam Frost), Robbo (Jake Ryan) first asks Tori (Penny McNamee) to help him choose a ring.
Later confirming his plans to Justin (James Stewart), he can’t wipe the smile off his face.
“Things have been clarified for Robbo,” says Jake. “He’s decided he wants to spend the rest of his life with Jasmine and he really is ready to propose to her. He feels he owes her a great deal for how he’s got his life back on track. And the thing about Robbo is he never really sits on the fence – once he makes his mind up, that’s it.”
Robbo is happier still when, testing the waters to find out if Jasmine is as keen to take the next step as he is, he asks her to move in with him – and she doesn’t hesitate to agree.
“At the beginning of Jasmine and Robbo’s relationship, they had their challenges with Tori and the IVF journey and trying to balance that with their own romance,” says Sam.
“But now Robbo has decided that he doesn’t want to continue trying IVF with Tori and that he wants to concentrate 100 per cent on his future with Jasmine.
“Jas is so excited when Robbo says he wants her to move in with him. He’s the love of her life and everything seems to be falling into place for them at last.”
What the couple are blissfully unaware of, however, is Tori has made the shocking decision to have a second embryo implanted.
Instead, Robbo forges ahead with his plan to declare his undying love to Jasmine.
How will Jas respond when Robbo asks her to be his wife?
