With her first husband Brody (Jackson Heywood) leaving her for another woman, Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) is certainly no stranger
to heartbreak.

And Ziggy, now in a relationship with Dean (Patrick O’Connor), immediately fears that history is about to repeat itself when she spots a beautiful young backpacker named Jade trying to flirt up a storm with Dean during one of his surfing lessons.
What’s more, Ziggy is certainly not mistaken in noticing that Jade (Mia Morrissey) has eyes only for Dean – despite Ryder’s (Lukas Radovich) repeated attempts to make an impression on Jade!
“Ziggy has had her heart ripped apart, so of course this would rock her world,” says Sophie. “She finally found a safe place with Dean and momentarily sees that safe place endangered.”
When the lesson comes to an end, however, an enraged Ziggy – who has been watching from the sidelines – makes it clear to Jade that she should stay away from Dean.
“I thought Ziggy’s reaction was actually very calm, considering the circumstances,” says Sophie. “Ziggy trusted Brody with everything she had, and he destroyed that trust. Seeing another woman with her man triggers all of those memories and fears.”
As for Dean, he’s anything but impressed by Ziggy’s outburst at Jade. And let’s just say that he too makes his feelings clear!
