He’s a institution in the Bay, but is Alf (Ray Meagher) about to find himself booted out of his beloved Bait Shop after 20 years?
Certainly Ben, who runs his now-thriving Board Shop business from the premises, is beginning to believe the place is not big enough for both of them – as does Alf.
But when Alf confronts Ben, demanding a solution, it gets Ben thinking.
Talking later in the day to his wife Maggie (Kestie Morassi), Ben discusses his plans to expand the Board Shop.
And with the Astoni family already owning a space in the Bay, Ben comes to the conclusion that Alf will have to be the one to make a move.
But, as Ben says, Alf can be “pretty scary” at times. Will Ben summon the courage to ask Alf to leave?
