A notorious Dr Phil guest who made headlines for his bizarre and outrageous appearance on the hit talk show, has been arrested on animal sex charges.
The 37-year-old, who legally changed his name to Sexy Vegan – a moniker which is also tattooed on his face – allegedly posted images of sexual assault on his dog on social media, where it was brought to the attention of police.

The man, who was previously called Hansel Marion DeBartolo III before he legally changed his name – is accused of 'performing an act of bestiality' on the pit bull.
'Detectives found a video on social media of the suspect performing an act of bestiality,' a spokeswoman for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, Shirley Miller, confirmed to local radio station KHTS.
Two dogs were removed from his Los Angeles home after the bust. Vegan has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanour charges; one count of sexual assault on an animal, and one count relating to posting obscene matter.

Dr Phil
The man first came to public attention after he appeared on Dr Phil in 2017 in an episode titled 'My Brother Changed His Name to "Sexy Vegan," Wears Speedos in Public and is Spending My Mom's $11 Million Inheritance.'
The episode dealt with his family’s anxiety over his choice of bizarrely skimpy street wear and strange behaviour, but the man was thrown off the show for a series of crude outbursts
An incensed Dr Phil told Vegan as he was ejected: 'Don't let the door hit you in the ass', before admonishing him for his 'childish and immature behavior'.
The man returned to the show in 2018, ostensibly to apologise for his bizarre and offensive behaviour.
After this latest incident, it seems highly unlikely he will ever be invited back.
