A chocolate addict has dropped 38kg after completing her New Year's resolution to become 'bikini ready' in 12 months.
Fiona Maguire, 31, set herself the goal last January which involved ditching her bulging waistline once and for all - in a bid to regain her confidence.
At just 162cm, Fiona weighed almost 101kg and was no longer able to partake in exercise and refused to go shopping for clothes.
But after joining 1:1 Cambridge Weight Plan last January, Fiona, from Devon, UK, is now thrilled with her new size 10 figure and weighs 59kg.
After swapping her daily dose of family sized chocolate bars, Fiona has since worn a bikini on the beach and is sharing her story to inspire others to kick start their weight loss journey.
Fiona, an accountant, said: "I decided that 2018 was the year I was going to get my old self back.
"I never stick to New Year’s resolutions, but knew I had to give this a try.
"I needed to get my spark back, feel comfortable walking down the street and needed to be me again!
"I'd been unhappy with my weight for two years but finally last January I decided to actually change my ways.
"I was obese and decided to set myself a New Year's resolution to lose weight.
"I was also determined to feel confident in my bikini on the beach.
"I didn't even feel comfortable on my wedding day in Las Vegas in 2016 so I knew something needed to change.
"My weight had spiralled out of control and I was eating family sized blocks of chocolate at least twice per day.
"Me and my husband, Leo, 32, would often enjoy takeaways for dinner and I worked opposite a McDonald's which didn't help.
"I'm so happy with my results on 1:1 Cambridge Weight Plan now, I feel better than ever.
"I'm so happy that I managed to stick to my News Year's resolution."
Before Fiona found 1:1 Cambridge Weight Plan she would struggle to breathe while walking and had no choice but to give up her beloved football training.
Fiona is now determined to stick to her 2018 New Year's resolution for the rest of her life.
She said: "People often look at my before pictures and say that I look so different, they say that I even stand differently.
"That’s because I am now different, I am now confident, I’m happy, I’m healthy and I’m full of energy. I feel worlds apart from the old useless Fiona that I felt so disappointed in.
"I’ll always remember a comment that was made to me when I was overweight and helping out in a friends pub, 'you don’t sweat much for a fat chick!' I’m sure the comment was made in jest, but those words will always be in mind and I never want to be a “fat chick” again."
