While the contestants on the gantry drooled over the dish, the stress took its toll, with Dee struggling the most to get over her panic.
It was getting HOT in the kitchen.
After more slip ups, pep talks from the judges, and some seriously over-beaten eggs, unbelievably, all three get their desserts done within the time.
It really did live up to its name. So much PRESSURE!
When Dee blew up, no one thought she was going to make it, and Yossra with minutes to go over beats the meringue. It was a miracle she got the dish up for judging.
Nicole’s dessert is first up for judgement. Darren is impressed with the sensational start.
“It’s a great dessert,” says Gary.
Yossra isn’t so confident when she presents her dish to the judges.
“Tiny thing like over-whipping your egg whites may send you home,” says Matt, which doesn't give her much hope.
When Dee brings in her Bombe Alaska, she is concerned about her ice-cream.
But there’s some hope as the judges congratulate her on keeping going.
“I’m so glad she got a dish up, at one point I didn’t think Dee would get this far,” Darren exclaimed.
However, from the judges comments, it’s obvious that there are too many issues for Dee to make it through to the next round as she “stumbled across the line”.
Although the judges were delighted that everyone got a dish up, Dee is sent home in the first pressure test as there were too many flaws that they just couldn’t overlook.
“Every day that you’ve walked into this kitchen you’ve made us happy," George said of Dee before she left.
And Dee herself posted to her Instagram after tonight's elimination, along with a photo pf herself making it into the final 24: "The start of the journey. They say a picture paints a thousand words.
"Most of the time in life we cry because we are in pain. This picture however is a moment where there was [sic] tears of joy.
"I will never forget that moment of unbelievable happiness."
