Things aren’t going well for Abby Lee Miller of late. Her former student and now megastar, Maddie Ziegler turned on her and now her current team has followed a similar suit. Members of the Dance Moms star’s junior elite competition team have come forward that they are competing with another studio at Fierce National Dance Competition this weekend. This all comes after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud.
‘An end of an era, the beginning of our future,’ dance mom Holly Frazier captioned a photo with Nia Sioux, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker and Cameron Bridges at 8 County Dance Academy in Los Angeles.
Former dancer Chloe Lukasiak was the first dancer to reveal at the end of last season that she would return to the show, but only If Abby Lee was not involved.
Not all of Abby Lee’s dancers have abandoned her. Brynn Rumfallo posted a photo at the ALDC with students Lilliana Ketchman, Elliana Walmsley and Maesi Caes.
‘Class tonight @aldcstudio,’ she tweeted, ‘My little squad.’
This is the latest public blow for Abby Lee after Maddie Ziegler slammed in her tell-all book.
‘I did a lot of crying in those early competitions,” Ziegler wrote in The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir. My nerves were really bad because I felt so much was riding on every single number we performed. If you watch me in the wings, you’ll always see me biting my nails. I put a lot of pressure on myself, I didn’t want to disappoint anyone – my teachers, my teammates, my mum, our audience.’
