While it is not presently known what sparked the confrontation, or if any serious injuries were sustained, vision from the scene shows one woman apparently having her head slammed repeatedly onto the concrete floor.

The incident appeared to begin with one woman grabbing the other’s hair and pulling her to the ground.

A man and a woman try to intervene, with mixed success, as nearby kids can be heard crying.

According to The Advertiser, up to six people, apparently including kids, were involved in the chaotic scene, with a woman seen being struck with a showbag, apparently by a child.

‘The Royal Show does not condone this behaviour,’ Michelle Hocking, Show General Manager, told 7NEWS.

‘This is a family-friendly event and always will be. You will be evicted if caught.’
