Actress Erika Heynatz made allegations against the actor in January while Christie Whelan Browne and Angela Scundi also claimed that he ‘indecently assaulted’ them.
Vanessa has vowed to stand by her man and declared she never believed the allegations to be true, and is ‘determined to clear Craig's name.
She states that she's convinced it was slander from the outset.
‘When it all happened, the one thing I said to my girlfriends through all of this, I never had to ask Craig if there was any truth in it,’ she says.
Vanessa adds she was also overwhelmed by the ‘lack of humanity’ shown.
‘The lack of humanity that’s been shown I’ve found incredibly overwhelming, to be honest,’ Vanessa explained on 2GB radio.
‘It’s been rough and savage.’
The Home And Away actor has strongly denied claims he ‘abused, harassed or assaulted’ the three women he played alongside in The Rocky Horror Show in 2014. Craig has maintained his innocence since the allegations were made and Vanessa says she feels like there has been a ‘fictional character’ painted of her partner.
‘It’s almost like a fictional character for us, this person who has suddenly been painted in this very negative way,’ she says.
Vanessa tells that since the claims were made, life has been ‘very tough’ for the couple.
‘The shock was out of this world.’
