Controversial mummy blogger Constance Hall has opened up about her failed marriage and new relationship with boyfriend Denim Cooke.
Speaking on her Sunday radio show, The Queen Sesh, the mother-of-four said the end of her marriage to the father of her children Bill Mahon, was a long time coming.
“My marriage was ending for a long time, so I was feeling pretty lonely for a really long time,” Hall, 33, confessed.
“And I think, a lot of the time when women finally leave a marriage, they’ve spent so much time alone and they can sometimes feel more ready than society would like them to be.”
The Perth blogger moved on from her relationship with father-of-two Denim Cooke, resulting in backlash online.
“You can’t sacrifice your own happiness because of other people’s ideals of what’s right or wrong," she told co-host Annaleise Dent.
Denying claims she cheating on her ex, Hall said she just loves love and despite not expecting to be able to move on, she confessed she "moves fast".
“I never thought I’d meet somebody like him either, I just thought it was like a childish dream, because I’d really got used to the idea of being married and when our marriage wasn’t really working – as a single mum-of-four-kids you don’t expect to meet somebody. You’re really just struggling to get through the day.”
The couple moved so fast that her and Cooke travelled to Europe with all six kids just months after meeting in February.
