Celebrating her 43rd birthday this week, it might not have been the celebration Chrissy Swan had in mind as Network Ten scrap two of her shows.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports Long Lost Family has been ‘dumped’ and The Great Australian Spelling Bee has been put the rest.
But this isn’t the last we will see of Swan on TV.
Beverley McGarvey, Ten's chief content officer told the publication, 'Chrissie is always top-of-mind for us when we do anything.'
Sharing a picture of her birthday cake on Instagram, the former Big Brother contestant wrote is hopeful for the future.
'I just know in my bones that this year is going to be my best ever, she wrote to her 118 thousand followers.
'It's already pretty damned good. That's what I'm telling myself anyway!'
