It has been heartache after heartache over the past few months for Zac and Leah.
They’re consoling VJ, who is still mourning the loss of Billie, while helping to raise baby Luc and, in the midst of this, their marriage is falling apart.

Unable to forgive Zac’s (Charlie Clausen) indiscretions with Sam (Cheree Cassidy), Leah (Ada Nicodemou) kicked him out. So when her estranged husband shows up, out of the blue, to pick up some mail from the house, Leah is frosty towards him and quickly suggests he should redirect his mail so they can avoid these types of encounters.
Despite her cold attitude, Zac spies that Leah is still wearing her wedding ring. If she hasn’t taken it off, can she really be that mad at him?

But before he can broach the topic of their future, Leah receives a phone call from Olivia (Raechelle Banno) – she is calling to let her know that VJ (Matt Little) is drunk and has had a fight with Hunter (Scott Lee).
In the morning, Zac pops by to check on VJ but Leah harshly shuts him down, telling Zac that VJ is not his responsibility anymore.
Zac tries to talk to Leah about their relationship, but she is still too furious. He begs her for time to prove himself. He understands why she can’t trust him and he knows she needs to heal before he can win her trust back, but he desperately wants a chance.
Hearing him out, Leah tries to reason with him. She loved being married to him and the last thing she wants is to throw everything they’ve built down the drain, but since his betrayal everything has changed. Leah doesn’t think she’ll be able to forget about what Zac did to her – some things can’t be fixed.

Filled with a fresh wave of fury, Leah takes off her wedding ring and throws it away. Zac tries to give her wedding ring back, but she refuses to accept it and Zac is left feeling devastated and terrified.
Can their marriage be saved or is it all over?
