It’s been five years since Murray Cook announced his retirement from showbiz.
Now, the former Red Wiggle is back in the spotlight and he’s barely recognisable!
The 56-year-old made an appearance on Channel Seven’s The Daily Edition on Friday, with presenter Tom Williams sharing a happy snap on Instagram.
“Some days just don’t get better than this!” the TV veteran captioned a photo of the pair.
“Chatting with @cook.murray on @dailyeditonon7 about ‘Peter and the Wolf’ and our love of Australian bands notably @youami_gbtflou.”
In a nod to their matching shirts he added: “Thanks Murray, we love a polka dot!”
The father-of-two boasted freshly died locks for the occasion, his tresses so long they appeared to graze the shoulders of his burgundy suit.
After previously enjoying a break from the intense touring schedule of The Wiggles, Cook will soon be making his highly-anticipated return to music.
On July 2 the guitar player will be collaborating with classical conductor George Ellis in children’s concert Peter And The Wolf at City Recital Hall on July 2.
