After a lifetime of being blonde, Carrie Bickmore left fans shocked last year when she unveiled dramatically darker locks on an episode of The Project.
But the TV show host is once again turning heads, embracing a much lighter look!
Speaking with her fellow panelists, the mother-of-two recently confessed that she had been considering going back to blonde for a while.
“Before Christmas, there were [odds on] when I would dye my hair back blonde,” she said, acknowledging that her hair colour had been a hot topic among bookies.
“If I did it before Christmas the odds were so good I thought if I could do it before Christmas I could pocket some sweet cash.”
“It’s highly illegal, so I couldn’t, but you know, it was an option,” she added.
The presenter paired her new look with a cherry red off-the-shoulder dress for the 2017 Melbourne Fashion Festival earlier this week, rubbing shoulders with fellow celebs Samantha Harris and Rebecca Harding at the event.
The summery tone is a welcome change for the mother-of-two, who previously went brunette in August 2016 as part of her partnership with hair care company, Garnier.
“I’ve had the same colour hair for 35-years and I was bored and I thought, ‘Why not?’” she said, following the big reveal.
“I’m giving it a whirl!”
