Ask anyone what they were doing between 2001-2003 and they’ll all say the same thing.
Watching McLeod’s Daughters.
We’ve got some good news for MD fans. It looks like everyone’s favourite Aussie show might be coming back!
Stars Michaela Banas and Simmone Mackinnon, who played Kate and Stevie on the show, posted throwback pictures to Instagram today with the caption, “Watch this space”. Evidence below.
Are they headed for a spin-off? A streaming revival thanks to Stan or Netflix? Or right back to TV? Who knows, but one thing’s for sure, everyone’s hoping for something closer to seasons one to three as opposed to the ah, less than stellar, later seasons.
For those who weren’t in the ‘ride or die’ camp of fandom, while initially released to critical acclaim, the show slowed after season three with main cast members calling it quits. What followed were a series of strange excuses to explain character departures. Notably, Lisa Chappell who played Claire McLeod. Her character was killed off in a dramatic car accident with plane crashes, hitmen and witness protection stories quick to follow.
Stay tuned for more updates.
