Tom Cruise has fallen for the charms of British beauty Vanessa Kirby, who has just signed on to play his leading lady in ‘M:I6’, and he reportedly plans to marry her!
Sources tell US magazine In Touch that the 28-year-old actress, who lit up the small screen as Princess Margaret in The Crown, had instant chemistry the moment she came into audition.
“Of course she got the role,” says the In Touch insider. “Tom flipped for her work and told his fellow producers that he had to have Vanessa for a crucial role in the franchise’s sixth instalment. He wants to make her the next Mrs Tom Cruise.”
Tom has been on the hunt for his next wife for a while now, having been romantically linked to a string of stunners including Miranda Kerr, Sofia Boutella and Annabelle Wallis, and friends say he wants the perfect woman by his side when he brings daughter Suri back into his life.
Since the death of his beloved mother Mary in February, Tom’s been desperate to make some changes in his life – and source say Mary was always sad about the situation with Suri, whom he hasn’t seen in three-and-a-half years.
“He realised how important family is and he doesn’t want to lose out on any more time with his daughter,” says the magazine’s source. “He’s eager to wed and ramp up his relationship with Suri in a big way.” As for his choice of bride? The ‘In Touch’ source says of Vanessa, “He thinks she’s perfect to be his next wife.”
