And it started out as such a beautiful friendship… Reese Witherspoon is now carrying a grudge against her Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman, according to a report today in US publication, Star.
The 40-year-old actress is miffed that 49-year-old Nicole hasn’t done her fair share of publicizing their new HBO series, but has devoted so much time to promoting her Oscar-nominated film Lion.
“Reese is furious that Nicole hasn’t done more to support Big Little Lies – all she talks about in interviews is Lion,” Star’s source says.
“Had Reese known that Nicole would put the show so far on the back burner, she would have cast some random unknown to play Celeste.”
Although she and Nicole are both executive producers for the seven-part series, Reese is said to be taking the perceived snub very personally.
