Princess Eugenie is leaving her four-bedroom apartment and moving into Kensington Palace – where she will neighbour William and Kate – and sparking a lot of chatter about her motives in the process.
While it was speculated that it may have been a cash-saving or security move, insiders confirm it has more to do with securing her future digs ahead of a planned wedding to long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. Eugenie wants an appropriatelly royal household in place before she weds Jack in two years time, and is thrilled to have secured a three bedroom apartment in the desirable address.
News of the couple’s plans came after Eugenie’s sister Beatrice split up with her boyfriend Dave Clark.
However, it has since been reported that talk of a formal engagement is premature.
The Daily Mail reports the ‘engagement’ is more of an agreement between the two to get married in 2017.
Eugenie, 26, and Jack, 29, have been together for six years after they were introduced by friends in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.
