When US president-elect Donald Trump moves into the Oval Office, his wife Melania and son Barron, 10 won’t be coming with him.
The pair are going to be staying behind in their New York penthouse – located atop Trump Tower – as Melania is concerned about disruption of his schooling.
‘The campaign has been difficult for Barron, and she is really hoping to keep disruption to a minimum,’ a source told the New York Post – before Trump himself confirmed the his wife and son would be staying behind in the Big Apple for the time being.
Melania has never made any secret of the fact that she is primary parent, and she sees stability as the key to her child’s happiness.
‘My husband is travelling all the time,’ she has said. ‘Barron needs somebody as a parent, so I am with him all the time.’
