Last November it was announced that Donald Trump’s wife Melania would be relocating from New York City to live in Washington with her husband.

But according to a family insider, the POTUS may end up having the White House all to himself.

While the original plan was to wait for the couple’s 10-year-old son Barron to finish the school year before making the move, the First Lady has decided to stay at the couple’s $100 million Trump Tower penthouse 200 miles away.

“They will revaluate toward the end of the school year if they will keep this arrangement or if Melania and Barron will move to Washington,” the insider said.

“They could go either way right now. They will ultimately do what’s best for Barron.”

The President and the First Lady have currently been living apart for the longest span of time since they married in 2005. In fact, during the election Melania confessed that the pair hadn’t gone longer than a week without seeing one another.

But as it turns out, President Trump isn’t so bothered by the distance.

When asked by an ABC News anchor whether he felt lonely not having Melania, 46, or Barron around all the time, the 70-year-old confessed: “No, because I end up working longer. And that’s OK.”

It’s been reported that the pair will take turns travelling the 90 minutes between their Fifth Avenue Apartment and the White House, with Trump saying, “They’ll come down on weekends.”
