Kate Middleton and Prince William aren’t spending Christmas with the Queen this, but not for the reason you think.
What has been described as a snub to the monarch, Kate and Wills reason makes perfect sense.
According to experts, giving Prince George and Princess Charlotte a relaxed Christmas with the Middleton’s is what the toddlers need!
‘The decision has been made out of a desire to put Charlotte and George first,’ parenting expert Lisa Clegg told MailOnline.
‘If William and Kate can take a step back from Official Royal duties at certain times, in order to keep life as simple and normal as possible for George and Charlotte then that’s absolutely the right decision.’
Clegg added: ‘The children are still very young and so won’t understand the restraints that have to be practised within certain obligations of the Royal family and to sit down and be quiet in particular situations.’
