Famous comedian and actor Graham Norton is officially bringing back Wheel of Fortune!

You would know Graham Norton from The Graham Norton Show, interviewing celebrities while giving us a laugh.

Now he’s coming Down Under, to host the Aussie version of the gaming show

What is Wheel Of Fortune about?

Wheel of Fortune is an American gaming show first started in 1975, which basically follows the rule of hangman.

It made its Australian debut on 21 July 1981 and after changing hands and locations it ended on 27 June 2008.

Contestants solve word puzzles to ultimately spin the giant Wheel of Fortune to win “life-changing cash” and prizes.

It will be interesting to see what the new version will include with bonus games like mystery rounds and mystery wedges previously added in.

Who is Graham Norton?

Graham Norton is a 60-year-old Irish comedian who has won five BAFTA TV Awards for his comedy show in the United States.

Not only has he hosted big shows like the Eurovision Song Contest, and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK but now he’s bringing back Wheel of Fortune!

Except this time, he’ll be hosting in Australia…

Wheel of Fortune Australia 

Host Graham Norton, announced they were rebooting Wheel Of Fortune Australia: “I’m beyond excited to be bringing such an iconic American show to Australia with Network 10. Hosting game shows is brilliant fun and even more so when you have a giant wheel to spin!”

“This show has it all, mixing skill, luck, and lots of surprises and I hope the Australian audience loves it,” he explained.

When/ where is Wheel Of Fortune Australia airing?

‘The Wheel’ (a nickname for Wheel of Fortune) is set to air on Channel 10 and 10 Play in 2024.
