Bindi Irwin shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late dad Steve Irwin over the weekend.
The Wildlife Warrior dedicated a picture on Instagram to her dad for Father’s Day, expressing how much she loves him.
‘You’ll be my hero for my entire existence. I love you more than words can describe,’ she wrote.
The post has been like more than 135 thousand times with fans praising Steve as an ‘inspiration’.
Others remembered back to how Steve’s death affected them.
‘The day ur dad died I cried, I’m 43 years old and I still miss watching him…. My oldest son who is almost 20 now cried too when he passed away,’ one user wrote, adding: ‘Ur dad was an idol to my son…… Your dad is so proud to see what a wonderful and beautiful young lady you have become Bindi!!!!’
Steve Irwin died on September 4, 2006 after being struck multiple times by a stingray barb while filming in the waters off the coast of Queensland, near Port Douglas.
A heartwarming letter penned by the late Steve Irwin to his parents was published last week ten years after his death.
