Katy Perry fans have been left disappointed after discovering that her live performance on The Voice was actually pre-recorded.
At the same time that the pop star was supposedly singing ‘live’ on the talent show, she was spotted at Sydney Airport, News.com.au reports.
This morning, the star also appeared as a co-host on Channel 7’s Sunrise.
In a statement to News.com.au, a Seven spokesperson was up front about the fact that Perry’s co-hosting stint was also pre-recorded last week.
“Katy Perry has recorded her portions of the show. We let fans know that last week, by inviting them to come down and see her during her appearance.”
