Viewers of My Kitchen Rules were left shocked by Courtney’s treatment of her mother Valerie on Wednesday night’s episode.
The challenge required the seven remaining teams to cook in two rounds, with the first designed to test their creativity.
‘We want you to take one type of meat and create three different dishes served on one plate’ said Manu.
Courtney and Valerie chose to serve up lamb, but it wasn’t long before tension was at an all-time high.
As Courtney prepared the salsa, Valerie rushed past and knocked the mixture over.
‘Mum!’, she scolded.
She also lost her temper when Valerie failed to plate up the mint sauce.
‘I told you to hurry up, what are you doing?,’ Courtney questioned.
‘All I wanted to do was get it all on the plate. The mint chutney is sitting in a bowl all on its own right next to our dish.
‘At this point you need to be focused on all these things and I was doing it all on my own.’
Despite the chaos, the pair managed to avoid the sudden death round.
Contestants Karen and Ros were eliminated from the competition.
