Vicky Pattison has broken down on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! when she spoke to Steve Price about having sex on British reality series, Geordie Shore.
As part of his Jungle Radio interview series, Steve Price sat down with the 30-year-old who appeared on the reality series between 2011-2014.
Price grilled Pattison about previous comments she had made about how disappointed she was in herself that she had sex on camera on the British reality show.
‘I hated myself on Geordie Shore,’ Pattison told Price.
Starting to cry, the reality starlet said: ‘I hated the person that I ended up becoming and I have no one to blame but myself, and I don’t try and put blame on anybody else.’
Vicky continued, ‘You are under an awful lot of pressure to act a certain way, to constantly outdo the outrageousness that’s happening around you.
‘Say you had five jaeger bombs and kissed someone you shouldn’t have on a Tuesday in Series 1, by Series 2 on Wednesday, you’re going to be expected to have 10 jaeger bombs, have sex with someone and have a huge argument and trash the house. It’s an escalation.’
Pattison revealed that her behaviour on the reality series almost destroyed her relationship with her mother, who was disgusted with her behaviour.
‘My mum, she never really forgave us I don’t think,’ she told Price. ‘She was very disappointed, quite rightly.
‘I have no one to blame for that by myself and it’s probably one of the only regrets I’ve ever had.’
When Price asked if she had spoken to her mother about it all, Pattison replied: ‘In the last couple of years, me and my mum have managed to rectify the gulf that Geordie Shore created between our relationship.
‘I’ve grown up, I’ve matured. I’ve essentially become someone that I don’t mind looking at in the mirror. I quite like who I am growing into, and I think my mum does too.’
Pattison, who won 2015’s UK I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! joined the jungle on Day 17 with fellow intruder Paul Burrell.
