Meg Ryan is selling her New York home because she is ‘so broke’, according to a sensational report in US magazine Star released today.
The struggling actress put her $10 million apartment up for sale after the big money acting roles dried up and her directorial debut, 2015’s Ithaca was a flop.
A source told Star magazine: ‘Meg is in desperate need of a cash infusion. Acting offers aren’t coming in and many Hollywood execs are turned off by her diva reputation and weird plastic surgery.’
The 55-year-old star is said to have been living off her savings, but over time they have dwindled.
Meg only bought the palatial New York home – which covers an entire floor of a converted warehouse – in 2014, off The Simpsons actor Hank Azaria.
The Sleepless in Seattle star is also said to have once again been getting close to her former partner, John Mellencamp. They originally split in 2014, but were spotted laughing together earlier this month.
