Austin Powers star Verne Troye, who played Mini-Me in the franchise, is heading to rehab after battling alcohol addiction.
The 48-year-old released a statement which read: ‘As you know, I’ve battled alcohol addiction in the past and while it’s not always been an easy fight, I’m willing to continue my fight day by day.’
He added: ‘I want to thank everyone that’s reached out with their messages of support, it truly means the world to me. With your support, I got this.’
The actor reportedly received treatment last week and will check into rehab at the end of the week, according to TMZ.
Troyer has battled alcohol abuse for years and has been in rehab twice before.
