Did Venus Williams just let slip the sex of Serena’s baby?
Although the 35-year-old tennis champ and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian have yet to officially reveal the gender of their first child, it appears as though her older sister may have beat them to it.
Speaking with Eurosport after her second-round French Open win on Wednesday, Venus hinted that Serena was expecting a little girl.
“She’s going to call me ‘favourite aunt’” Venus told the reporter.
The 36-year-old also shared that along with her sisters Lyndrea and Isha, she is holding out hope that the newborn one of their names.
“Every day we’re like, ‘baby Vee, baby Isher, baby Lyn,’ so we all want the baby to be named after us,” she admitted.
The mum-to-be has previously shared that she intends to keep the baby’s gender a surprise for the delivery room.
But this isn’t the first time the famous family have prematurely spilled the beans on the unborn bub.
Back in April, the sportswoman took to Snapchat to show off her blossoming baby bump, captioning the pic “20 weeks.”

Later, she deleted the pic and explained that she had mistakenly posted the photo to her public profile instead of sending it in a private snap.
“It was an accident,” she told Gayle King at the 2017 TED Talks conference.
“I was on vacation just taking some time for myself and I have this thing where I’ve been checking my status and taking pictures every week to see how far along I’m going.”
“I didn’t tell a lot of people, to be quite honest, and I’d been saving it,” she continued.
“On social media, you press the wrong button and [it’s done.]. Thirty minutes later I had four missed calls and I’m like, ‘That’s weird.’”
