Julia Roberts is battling a secret health crisis, according to a sensational report in US Star magazine today.
The Oscar winner, 49, is said to be worrying close friends with her gaunt appearance and stressed-out behaviour.

It follows on from a tough few years for the Pretty Woman beauty, whose mother died of lung cancer after her half sister Nancy Motes tragically committed suicide.
In a three-page cover story, Star speculated that Julia’s years of smoking may now be having consequences.
Fears over the actress’s health were allegedly heightened when she was recently spotted leaving a Los Angeles medical facility on two separate occasions in May.
A source said, “It’s a terrible thing, especially if you’re a smoker, for a close relative to die of that horrible disease. Julia was already smoking in her early twenties – she even confessed to blowing through two packs a day – and anyone in her position might be worried about unwontedly following in their loved one’s footsteps.”
Julia is said to be staying strong through her ordeal, along with husband Danny Moder and their three children: twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 12, and son Henry, 9.
An insider told Star, “Danny, who’s been her rock, will be there for every step of the way. They’re determined to make it through any challenge together.”
Julia has yet to respond to Star’s allegations.
