Twin charged with sister’s murder after horror cliff plunge

After being cleared of her sister's death in June

A Hawaii woman who drove a truck off a cliff and killed her twin sister is in police custody.

Alexandria Duval, 37, has been charged with murder for the second time after being cleared of her sister’s death in June.

Alexandria was found on Friday at a residence in Albany after an arrest warrant was issues last month.

‘She attempted to flee but was taken into custody and transported to the Latham barracks for processing,’ the statement said.

‘Duvall was arraigned in the City of Albany Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail. She is awaiting extradition back to Hawaii.’

Alexandria was allegedly driving a Ford Explorer on Hana Highway on May 29 with her sister Anastasia when the vehicle plunged 200 metres off a cliff, killing Anastasia.

Alexandria was arrested and jailed on a second-degree murder charge, accused of deliberately causing her sister’s death.

However, a judge later had her released, saying their no probable cause for a murder charge.
