The son of Channel Nine’s entertainment editor Richard Wilkins is homeless.
The 22-year-old has gone from attending red carpet events and rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous to a life on the streets…well, sort of.
Christian will appear in SBS’s adaptation of the iconic BBC format Filthy Rich and Homeless.
The show, presented by Indira Naidoo, will give Australians a new perspective on what life is like for the nation’s growing homeless population.
In footage shown during SBS’s 2017 upfronts this week, Christian was shown breaking down while using a pay phone.
Filthy Rich And Homeless is set to air in the second half of 2017 and will see five of Australia’s wealthiest people surrender their possessions and given a crash course in street survival.
