Tom Hanks has given a pair of newlyweds the ultimate gift – a selfie with the actor!
Funnily enough, the Forrest Gump actor was running through Central Park in New York when he introduced himself to the overjoyed couple over the weekend.
Elisabeth and Ryan had been taking wedding photos in the famous park when Tom approached them and happily posed for a number of photos.
The Oscar-winning actor even posted one of the selfies to his own Instagram account, captioning the picture, ‘Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.’
He is also seen kissing the hand of Elisabeth in a further photo taken by the couple’s photographer, Meg Miller.
Elisabeth and Ryan had just tied the knot in the city’s Upper East Side.
‘It was pretty amazing that he stopped,’ said Meg. ‘He asked their names. He easily could have just run past.’
