The publication embarked on a 10-month investigation, and claims to have uncovered information about big name Scientologists and other stars adopting children born to poor mothers.

A whistleblower claims former Florida politician Mary Hinton has been bragging about being a go-between for the likes of Cruise and then-wife Nicole Kidman, along with Travolta’s pals, and actress Kirstie Alley.

Only a child placement agency or private attorney has the legal right to organise an adoption, according to the report.

“She’d go out and find babies for celebrities – that was her thing,” the source spilled, claiming her first adoption was for Burt Reynolds and his ex-wife Loni Anderson.

“Mary also confessed to arranging an adoption for Travolta’s manager Jonathan Krane and his wife [M*A*S*H star] Sally Kellerman, finding a baby for one of Travolta’s friends, and another for Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. She ALSO helped good friend Alley with her adoption.”

They added: “Donna Mills in ’94 was one of the last adoptions that I recall her being involved with. But she may have been involved in many more.”

The Enquirer phoned Hinton, now 70, on June 19, and say she denied all wrongdoing, but did say she referred Krane and Renyolds to her private attorney.
