They’ve only been married for three months, but newlywed Wiggles stars Emma Watkins and Lachy Gillespie are already talking about expanding their family.
The couple – better known to kids everywhere by their Wiggles colours yellow (Emma) and purple (Lachy) – opened up about their baby news during an interview with Jules Sebastian on her YouTube channel Tea With Jules.
Asked by the mum-of-two whether kids were on the cards, 30-year-old Lachy didn’t hesitate, responding with a solid, ‘Yeah!’
‘My two younger brothers, one’s had a baby recently,’ Lachy explained.
‘And we’ve only just found out two days ago that the other one is going to have a little baby,’ Emma, 26, continued, adding with a chuckle: ‘Lachy is clearly excited!’
The couple were married on April 9 in Bowral in NSW’s Southern Highlands, surrounded by 200 family members and friends – including fellow Wiggles members Anthony Field and Simon Pryce.
