Since his return to the big red chair, fans of The Voice have noticed a definite change in Seal.
Not only has his feud with Boy George reached fever pitch, but now viewers are also accusing the British coach of having a new-found attitude problem!
‘Don’t threaten me babe, that’s only going to make it worse,’ Boy George warned Seal.
One fan wrote on The Voice Facebook page: ‘Seal is to full of himself don’t know why he came back!!’
And now the 54-year-old has admitted to New Idea that he has no regrets about showing his ruthless side on the reality show.
‘You have to be single-minded and relentless in the pursuit of what you want,’ he reasons.
‘If you are not, there’s someone else right there that will snap up your position, so you kind of have to be like that.
‘It’s a very Machiavellian approach, and is it fair? No. But welcome to our industry, it’s anything but fair.’
According to the father-of-four, he’s not the only superstar coach who is willing to walk all over people to get what they want.
‘If you talk to any one of the coaches, or anyone who is in a position of having had success, they will tell you that there has been collateral damage along the way,’ he explains.
‘There are things that we may not be… not necessarily proud of when you look back. There are people that have been hurt, but that’s the name of the game. Is it right? No. Is it wrong? Not really. It is what it is.’
