He might not be an ocean-dweller, but even singer Seal isn’t safe from the prying jaws of sharks!
In a new commercial promoting the Discovery Channel’s famed ‘Shark Week,’ the star is featured belting out his hit song ‘Kiss From A Rose’ to a crowd of adoring fans.
With a tropical island as the backdrop to his performance, all seems picturesque.
But only until a giant shark leaps out and drags The Voice judge into the depths of the water below as the words “It’s still a bad time to be a seal” flash across the screen.
The hilarious clip is a spin-off from the viral 2013 campaign ‘Snuffy the Seal,’ in which a malnourished mammal meets the same fate as he is re-released into the wild.
Whether or not Seal’s promo inspires you to tune in to the much-hyped annual programming, the video is guaranteed to shock you.
