Since stepping down from her role as coach on The Voice, it seems controversial British singer Jessie J hasn’t had many nice things to say about her time on the Channel Nine show.
According to a music industry insider, the 29-year-old has slammed the singing contest, calling it ‘a joke’.
‘When producers were scouting talent, she warned her mates in the industry the only thing the show was good for was a holiday,’ the source reveals to New Idea.
The insider also reveals the feud between Jessie and Delta Goodrem hasn’t been laid to rest – despite claims to the contrary.

The British-born star is still badmouthing her former rival to anyone who asks about the show.
‘Jess hates Delta,’ the insider dishes. ‘She thinks she’s a joke, and laughs about the fact that she’s still on the show while everyone else has moved on.’
Tensions between the two stars reached boiling point, with Delta ready to quit until Jessie J announced she wasn’t returning.

‘I’m over this s***. I’m out,’ the Aussie darling said on air during a confrontation with Jessie in 2015, ripping out her earpiece and storming off with several production staff in tow.

A Channel Nine source says Delta, 32, wasn’t the only one relieved to see the back of Jessie – the network and The Voice production team also breathed a sigh of relief when the artist and her managers Joel and Benji Madden didn’t re-sign their contracts.
‘Everyone was sick to death of them,’ the Nine insider spills. ‘They had bad attitudes, were divas and they bullied Delta.

‘Producers and the crew are relieved they aren’t coming back. It’s a much nicer vibe this season. Kelly [Rowland] and Boy George are great additions – they’re both talented and warm and funny, and have a great dynamic together.’
