Over the past year, the Irwin’s have made some noticeable changes to their appearance and it has now been revealed that a celebrity stylist was brought in to shake things up.
A close source to the wildlife warriors told Confidential that Bindi’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars inspired her transformation.
“People told Bindi she had to have a more mature look, she was 18 and dressing like a little girl, she was pretty receptive from the get go,” the source said.
“It wasn’t only Bindi, the whole family were stuck back in the ’90s, they had to be brought into the 21st century.”
The 18-year-old’s makeover inspired younger Brother, Bob to change his hair from his signature bowl cut to a more contemporary look.
The source claimed that the styling team were eager to work on Bob’s hair.
“They could not wait to get at that hair, it looked like Terri cut it herself,” the source said.
“He has been transformed the most, he looks like a cool young guy now.”
Mother-of-two, Terri was reportedly the most reluctant of the clan to change her look but the 52-year-old was convinced due to the benefits a fresh look would have on their brand.
“For Terri it was the toughest,” the insider said. “It was potentially about holding on to Steve’s memory.
Holding on to the glory days you could say. But she came around, understanding that like a business has to evolve so do the people who front the brand.”
